Knobs are the most basic types of handles— suitable for both doors and drawers. Knobs use a single screw and you can find them in shapes ranging from square to T-shape. When it comes to materials and finishes, there are choices ranging from wood to ceramic—or even crystal.
Bar and Wire Pull Installation:
Bar pulls (European pulls) and wire pulls have similar functionality in many forms.
They are easy to grasp and work well in modern and contemporary kitchens. Wire pulls are installed into the cabinet at its two ends. Bar pulls are screwed in by two-feet-like projections. On doors, these pulls are typically installed with an upright, vertical orientation.
Cup Pulls Installation:
The cup pulls are an upside-down, cup-shaped pull most commonly found in Victorian-era kitchens. Instead of gripping a knob, you slip your fingers underneath the ‘cup’. Cup pulls have a wide appeal across a range of kitchen styles.

From start to finish, this was an incredible experience. I had never really done any home renovation projects before and the owner Suzy was so incredibly patient with me and helped me throughout the entire process. The crew did a remarkable job with the cabinets and took such good care of our home. Not to mention, they were able to start and finish a few days sooner than they initially anticipated. I quickly decided to use this local family-owned business to get my 20 year old standard oak cabinets refinished and painted. I chose them because of their experience (and reviews), their detailed quote, explanation of the process and fair price. The work team was on time each day, did meticulous work in all their tasks (and this is a labor intensive project) and I could tell, they took pride and joy in their work. Susy was great, in daily communication with me about timeline & progress. AND, the final outcome was better than anything I envisioned for my old cabinets.
